Lake Sonoma Defensible Space Project

Circuit Rider conducted workforce development training and defensible space demonstration projects at five homes in the Lake Sonoma area during the months of July & August, 2020. Five Circuit Rider crew members and two crew leaders completed the projects as part of Circuit Rider’s non-profit job training program for underserved youth ages 16-25. The program began with a day-long chainsaw training, hosted by Circuit Rider. After the chainsaw training was completed, our crew was able to practice their newly learned skills while helping five homeowners create defensible space on their properties.
