Circuit Rider Community Services
Circuit Rider Productions has a long history and storied past in Sonoma County. Innovative and daring programs, dedicated and passionate staff, and strong reach to youth and clients established the organization as a treasured mainstay in the community. The focus of Circuit Rider has always been diverse, the willingness to try new programs strong and the staff and participants have driven innovation and growth.
Circuit Rider Community Services was originally incorporated in 1976 to provide mentoring, vocational programming, and pro-social service-learning activities for at-risk youth. Our offices are located in two Sonoma County, California communities, Santa Rosa and Windsor, and our programs reach the communities of Sonoma, Mendocino and Marin Counties.
Our multifaceted programs are designed to address the interdependent links between the health of the individual person, the greater community and the natural environment. Circuit Rider’s mission is to support community members to become stewards of their own lives, the lives of others and the environment we share.
Our organization is culturally diverse, as are our services. Developed in response to our understanding of the needs of the communities we serve, they are offered in both English and Spanish. Our highly trained workforce delivers programming designed to support and advance the healthy functioning of youth, adults and families. These programs and services are provided by a steady, dedicated workforce for whom we invest in training and certification in evidence-based intervention tools. We provide youth, families, and adults with guidance, mentoring, vocational rehabilitation, counseling, and community service opportunities designed to develop pro-social and work-ready skills, while achieving their individual, unique, positive human potential.
As stewards of the environment, Circuit Rider Community Services employs our extensive knowledge of our local ecosystems to design and implement a complex array of restoration projects including watershed planning, ecological restoration, natural resource mapping and service-learning activities.
